VSD 007 MG Maize

No-till technology enables direct sowing without prior soil preparation, based on three key principles: no soil disturbance, covering with plant residues (mulch), and crop rotation. It significantly improves soil fertility, increases yields, and reduces emissions by helping to accumulate carbon in the soil. By applying this method, we save up to 30–40% water and prevent the loss of 700 million tons of soil from erosion — a real benefit not only for farmers, but also for the climate and biodiversity.

Our machines are designed to best apply this technology in agriculture, specifically in the inland areas of the central Italian Apennines, i.e., in areas that are very difficult to access and cultivate, and from which it is very difficult to generate income. To this end, we have created seeders with very high standards of strength, using high-quality materials carefully selected from the many available on the market. In addition to being very sturdy and durable, minimizing maintenance costs due to wear and tear and unforeseen events, we also took into account their ease of operation, which makes them easy to use. Another point we paid special attention to is that they can operate in very difficult conditions, both in very wet soil after rain and on very hard soil after prolonged drought. All this contributes to increasing the farm's income."

Mechanical No-Till seed drill VSD „007 MG MAIS”

VSD 007 MG MAIS is a spring seed drill for 100% direct sowing, with electric distribution, semi-mounted (from 7 to 9 rows at 70-75 cm; and up to 13 rows at 45-52 cm) or mounted (up to 5 rows at 70-75 cm), with a two-point connection for work and transport.

Double hopper for seeds and fertilizers: (60% seeds and 40% fertilizers) 1800 l, 2300 l or 3000 l.

Corn seed hopper with a capacity of 35 - 50 l for each row.

 

Manufactured from the highest quality materials and components;

C45 steel for seeding elements;

S700 steel for load-bearing beams;

WURTH 10.9 stainless steel connecting and fastening elements;

Epoxy powder coating with anti-corrosion primer; SKF bearings;

550/70-22.5 high flotation transport and working wheels;

Pneumatic or hydraulic brakes;

Highest quality TVZ brake axles;

Choice of all available electronic technologies - from basic control of main functions to CAN BUS electronics in ISOBUS;

Design and functionality:

Seeding element mounted on a hydraulic parallelogram with constant pressure, operating at low hydraulic pressure, between 0 and 50 bar (developed and patented by VSD). Each section has an excursion stroke of up to 45 cm. Hydraulic adjustment for precise terrain copying, with constant pressure.

1) 17" turbo disc with high flotation for intensive cutting and removal of plant residues, performing micro-tilling of the seed row;

2) Double 16" V-shaped sowing disc, sowing at the smallest possible angle for optimal and precise seed placement;

3) "Beaver tail" for pressing the seeds;

4) Double serrated closing discs 14", which loosen the soil behind the sowing discs to avoid the so-called "ceramic effect". This allows the root system to develop in the best possible way, freely and comprehensively, contributing to stronger, healthier, and more stable roots and plants, more tillers, and, respectively, increased yields. Sowing depth from 0 to 9 cm, adjustable from the rear wheels. All working parts are made of boron steel with "Oncativo" cross fibers.

5) Chevron-type seed and fertilizer distributor with speed variator, made of durable plastic.

Working width: from 250 to 680 cm  

Weight with empty hopper: from 3500 kg to  5000 kg

Required power: from 90 to 180 hp

Number of rows: 5-7-9-13. Option for even rows up to 12, at the customer's request
